"A few weeks back, Sony had confirmed that there was "no collector’s edition slated for Killzone 2," claiming that since Guerrilla had put all its effort into the software side of things, such extra trinkets weren’t necessary. Apparently, such trinkets actually were necessary, at least in Europe.

Yes, a collector’s edition of Killzone 2 does exist, despite claims to the contrary. Europeans can pre-order "limited edition collector’s box," which consists of a metal tin and … not a lot else. Previously, the only place this version of the game existed was in a few European countries like Spain, but shopto.net has secured what looks like exclusive rights to sell this version in the UK."
